Writing for Insight, Revelation and Connection
The theme for the Nov 16 LIFT event is Writing Your Life; the Art of Making Connections, and the event explores the idea of writing as a means of having personal insight into life and relationships.
The three speakers for this event are Sheila Cameron, Mark Cameron, and Krystin Clark, all local authors and entrepreneurs.
Have you ever thought about writing a memoir? Listen as Sheila Cameron talks about the process of writing her memoir.
Earlier this year, sharing her work with a small group sent her into a deep dive that led to more meaningful connections with her family and her self.
Mark Cameron is a fiction writer who enjoys connecting with readers by placing authentic characters into unusual situations.
Krystin Clark is the keeper of a Grateful Jar. She began her Grateful Jar Project as a year long experiment by asking herself how her life would be influenced if she dedicated one full year to radical gratitude.
The experiment quickly became a powerful anchor in a turbulent year surging with swift change and dramatic redirection. Her experience culminated in a book called The Grateful Jar Project. In the LIFT event, she will share her story of challenges, celebrations and reconnecting in soulful conversation with the Universe.
