Heartfelt and Inspiring! The essence of the theme today was captured.
Our three presenters connected with us with reflections from their newly launched books and their autonomous life journeys.
Sheila and Mark Cameron wove their own connection with a trip into their past and their unique choreography to go with the interlinking stories of their relationship.
Sheila’s part of the talk included her inspiration for her first non-fiction book Shine Bright: Live a SuperNova Life, and the announcement of her upcoming memoir. Her story reflected the fears that many of us have when we decide to be vulnerable enough to reveal our secrets.
Mark provided the seeds of thought for his second fictional book, 17 Weddings following his first novel, Goodnight Sunshine. He decided to create a character the complete opposite of himself and throw him into unusual and challenging situations.
Krystin Clark entranced and inspired the audience with the powerful message of her new (and first) book, The Grateful Jar Project. We could visualize the jar itself through her passion and eloquent choice of imagery, as we followed her story from finding the jar as a discarded item to its transformation into a vessel and vehicle for change.
Krystin reinforced that gratitude is a powerful practice to enhance well-being for ourselves and those around us.
Thanks to the full house and responsive audience. We wouldn’t have a LIFT event without you!
Please note there is no LIFT event in Dec. They will resume Jan 18, 2019.
